No. Subway construction is very expensive, and to relocate an entire operating branch segment would be a huge expenditure for little payback in terms of overall service. The Fulton St, Jamaica Ave, Myrtle Ave and Broadway lines are all functioning fairly well. Over the last 10-15 years there has been a fair amount of rehab on these lines and I think the TA may make some improvements to the yards at Broadway Junction, but otherwise I doubt that there is any need to put any of these lines underground. -- Danny Lieberman email-address-deleted
