Broadway V2.0 TV/Video capture card for the PC. It is a PCI hardware capture card, capable of hardware assisted real-time compression of video to MPEG-1, as well as capture to uncompressed AVI format from either an RCA or S-VHS input. Included are the PCI card itself, the User Guide and Quick Reference Card, driver floppy disk, the Broadway application CD-ROM, and ULead MediaStudio 2.5 on CD-ROM. The release notes that were included with the card from the manufacturer are also included. This card is quite good for someone looking to capture video from their camcorder, VCR, or even cable box. It captures at roughly TV resolution with a maximum of 352x240 (from what I remember and what I can find from glancing back through the manual). Sound can be captured as well, but must be done through your computer's sound card- the Broadway card does not have audio inputs onboard. The card has a RCA jack and an S-VHS jack for inputing video. Drives are either included or available for Windows 95/98/Me and NT 3.51. Unfortunately, I do not believe there have ever been drivers for Windows 2000 or Windows XP written for this card- I have never been able to get the card to work under Windows 2000, but have not tried with Windows XP. $40.00
