I'm not a "musical" fan under most circumstances, so (Broadway cast
soundtrack notwithstanding) my wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we
saw the movie of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on DVD. A great story, cool
tunes, and there is a 90 minute or so documentary that traces the history of
the off-off-off Broadway play through to its filming. Very enlightening and
made some things that were a little fuzzy for me in the film crystal clear.
