Ridiculously expensive just for London, or ridiculously expensive in both
cases? As £59/$101 goes a lot further in the US, you presumably mean that
the Broadway ticket price is ridiculously expensive?
Incidentally, people pay the money in droves on Broadway, and it's thriving.
Fortunately, the commercial side of the West End is not dictated by fiscal
history. More money flowing through the industry can only be a good thing.
