As £59/$101 goes a lot further in the US, you presumably mean that the Broadway ticket price is ridiculously expensive? Incidentally, people pay the money in droves on Broadway, and it's thriving. Fortunately, the commercial side of the West End is not dictated by fiscal history. More money flowing through the industry can only be a good thing.
