Again, correcting the (deliberate?) misinformation strewn about... "Broadway" = about 20 major THEATRES... smoking hasn't been allowed in THEATRES since the '80s. There are bars in the lobbies for intermissions... but I think that smoking has been banned in theatre lobbies since the '80s as well. So this is a non-issue. BTW, Broadway ticket (unit) sales are down, closings are at an all time high, the hottest show in town is a bad remake of a fun little John Waters' movie and owners/producers keep whining about needing financial "incentives" from the city.
