That's how the Pearl Jam thing got started. It wasn't that PJ were totally against TM just because they were TM, it's because they felt the charges were too high and TM wouldn't agree to a lower charge. There's no scientific method of how they come up with charges; I would shut up if they announced that they would take a 5-10% service charge per ticket that would apply to all tickets. Instead, we have things like this: one $150 Rolling Stones ticket had a $14 service charge, and one similarly priced Broadway ticket had a $6 charge. I've paid $6 or $8 on $25 club shows, and I've also paid $6 or $8 on $75 tickets. I don't think that's fair, and I think there should be a percentage worked out that's applied to each ticket, so I won't pay as much for a $25 ticket as I will for a $75 one.
