How would you feel going to a Britney Spears concert and you found out she lipped synced the whole show? Ah, bad example. :) All kidding aside, imagine going to see Pearl Jam and they just pretended to play their instruments and, instead, their show was pretaped. It would be horrible and Broadway shows would be no different. Broadway gets away with charging 80 bucks a ticket(and people bitch at PJ charging 42 and think it's a lot) b/c it's a live show. To charge a person 80 bucks to listen to a prepated soundtrack would be insulting to that person. If they choose to play a tape instead of using live musicicans, they will lose my business at musicals forever. John
