There's always Bugsy Malone?!?! Typical kids show! I did a musical called the Ragged Child when I was in junior school, which was quite good. A story about poverty in London, you could use a big chorus there to depict the crampt-ness of the homelessness W also did a musical called Yanamamo - about the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. This was really good - had some very nice songs in it. Scope for a big yanamamo tribe, animals and forest deconstructions, and a choir!
