With the exception of Hairshirt, I like Green very much. Pop Song 89 and
World Leader Pretend are at the top of my favorites list.
And I have nothing against mandolins. You Are The Everything is a great song
IMO. The Wrong Child is fine also even though I enjoy the sentiments behind
the lyrics a bit more than the melody.
The melody line for Hairshirt does nothing for me at all. I find it grating.
For it to be repeated over and over for the length of the song is a bit too
much for me.
That's just my opinion. I respect the fact that lots of folks here love it
and that's fine. It just don't do nothin for me.
