Does anyone know this song?

Does anyone know this song, and if so, who does it and where I can find a
copy? My mom sang it to me as a child and I sing it to Jessica all the time
(and now Christopher!) and I would love to actually hear it. It's called "I
see the Moon" and it's NOT the one that says I see the moon, the moon sees
me, the moon sees someone that I'd like to see..............I found that one
everywhere and have a copy of that one. The lyrics go "I see the moon, the
moon sees me, under the shade of the old oak tree, please let the light that
shines on me, shine on the one I love". I've been able to find the lyrics
on 2 sights but not the writer of it. My mom thought it was by someone
named Julius Laroso, an old opera singer, but that didn't turn up anything.
Any help greatly appreciated!!!!
