For those that aren't aware, it's a list of record label/publisher wants which
is available for non-members (the latest one says it has 100,000 circulation).
Anyway below are the first two entries on the latest list. The list will
contain 50/100 listings, right down to song and sync wants. Like Gary, I rarely
bother to read it now. I know my place.

Current Grammy-winning Producer/Engineer of one of the biggest records of the
year looking for "the next Crosby Stills Nash and Young." Basically, he wants a
group with multiple writers and singers (great singers) with great pop/rock
songs and harmonies. You don't have to sound exactly like CSNY, but those
elements of classic songwriting chops are welcome. Please submit two to three
songs per CD/cassette/online, include lyric sheets, photo and bio. All
submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no
later than June 16, 2003.

BANDS/ARTISTS that are reminiscent of the post-punk era--a la Interpol and The
Strokes, etc.. Bands must be actively touring and showing that they can make
things happen for themselves--meaning good at self-promotion, a solid following
with strong CD sales and sell-out shows. Please submit two to three songs per
