I feel truly privileged to be talking to someone who actually help write the lyrics. I'll assume that you wrote these, since you are speaking as an authority as to the lyric interpretation. For what it's worth, Falwell is much easier to defend than your boy, Flynt. Why no comment on the molestation of his daughter? Pretty tough to defend the old boy, isn't it? If you do find a Christian jazz-pop group with the same musical/high production standards as that of the Dan, please let me know. I probably won't pay attention to their lyrics either, so it may not be a big cultural shock for me.
