Hi there,
just to let you know about a Concert in the Glasgow Royal Concert
Hall, with a speech by J John, and music by Matt Redman and The New
Scottish Choir & Orchestra.
For those who like a Celtic flavour, there will be Uilleann Pipes,
Highland Pipes and Scottish Smallpipes, as well as whistles, from
Donald Lindsay, and Scots traditional vocals from Emily Smith, BBC
young Scottish traditional musician of the year 2002.
Donald Lindsay's debut album, a collection of psalm tunes & pipe tunes
by the Rev. Alex Muir (composer of 'The Bays of Harris' amongst other
tunes), is released on Monday 17th March 2003 on R2 Records (Toronto &
Edinburgh).
