Well, I wouldn't say it surprises me as I am quite aware that the country genre is more "christian" oriented than pop, but it's really very blunt, and quite a put down to anybody who isn't christian. And I think it's this bluntness that caught me off guard. And this is what amazes me the most. My sister (whom I love dearly of course), said, "You're misinterpreting the song. The only thing that song is saying is that jesus was there with her when her parents died." Yeah RIGHT>.... Well there was a little debate, and I walked away wondering how many christians hear that song and just either don't see or don't care to see it's real meaning. -- From alt.atheism only....Julie Kale (aa#1029) Listen to the music now at www.juliekale.com
