in antiquity they thought that matter in itself is in fact nothing. but all
there possibilities and potentialities lie.
in many creation myths, including jewish-christian, there's a sort
emptiness, "before" the cosmos was created. that goes a bit far from what
dylan is singing, but what then.

But i think Godot I know. Yes. "nothing" as an experience of frustration;
Godot (god) never arrived.
