Oh dear, Mr. Foxtrot, you're so close! C.W. McCall actually is a fictional character. Look here: ttp://www.mannheimsteamroller.com/html/about/chip-bio.html In fact, there are some more details not mentioned in the bio. For example, the song "Convoy" was actually written to be the "B" side for the single with the "Old Home" jingle as the "A" side. Due to it's instant popularity, the record was released nationally with "Convoy" as the "A" side. Mannheim Steamroller is Chip Davis' group and they publish much more than Christmas music, although that is probably what they are best known for. Well, you get points for making the connection, but for actually stating that C.W. was real person that wrote Christmas music, well, for that Mr. Foxtrot, your sentence will be a ride marathon on Primeval Whirl with three fat guys who just came from on all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet. -- - RODNEY (46 days to go!)
