I just was interested in knowing what some listers might listen to in addition to classical music. Hell, I've made my living from classical music since 1967. Opera, to be sure, but still classical music. My desert island non-operatic? Yes, the New World Symphony, some Tchaicowsky symphonies. Many operatic preludes and overtures (does that count?) and many others that I can't think of at this early hour. But in my car I usually listen to Gigli, Tucker, Bjoerling. A very occassional Bway show, and sometimes Al Jolson! And many complete operas. But I certainly have nothing against classical music. I love the pop oldies from the 50's and 60's, and often listen to a radio station that features these songs. Ed
