cd walkman for classical music

Hi there, Well, I don't know whether it is suitable to post this question here,
but I really need your advice. I want to buy a cd walkman for listening to
classical music. I used a sony cd walkman before but it began to skip after
several months of usage. I bought my current sony D-E530 at Best Buy for $50
nine months ago and it skips a cd I bought now. Are these $50 cd walkmans
not very enduring? I really need a cd walkman that can work as long as
possible. Any suggestion for such a cd walkman? I also check sony's website and found this D-EJ2000 model that is priced
at $199.99. Has anyone used it and is it really worth that much? There are
also other models priced from $50 to $150. Will the expensive one produce
better sound and be more enduring? Your opinion is very much appreciated.
