Change it from the vague country rock feel? :( >> Hi Tracy, That was from the post I was responding to, not me :-) No, I think you are bang on target style-wise... on the edgy side for the country market is a good place to be -- it's hit or miss, but the good thing is that phrase does include 'hit' :-) move over to straight pop and your lyric might even start looking a bit tame compared with some of the stuff that's out there... I think this is a problem with the crossover divas... they sound very versatile within the country spectrum, pushing the envelope, daring etc etc... but in the end, move them outside the nashville umbrella and they are mostly not outstanding as straight rock or pop singers. Doesn't just go for the women, Garth's career as a 'rock' act didn't exactly set the world alight either. I think you've found a very good niche for yourself... if Sherrie Austin can do it... :-) Paul _________________ email-address-deleted http://www.members.aol.com/paulcarneinus/LoveinaBottle.mp3
