I enjoy country music, but I agree with much of what you have to say. Many
of the county entertainers spoke out against the Dixie Chicks for what
Natalie Maines said about Bush. They claimed the Dixie Chicks were
unpatriotic and using the blood bath in Iraq just to deepen their pockets.
Then those same entertainers wrapped themselves in the flag, not to be
patriotic, but to make money off the sufferings of others with their
hurriedly produced songs. In my opinion that's being a lot more unpatriotic
than any statement against Bush the Dixie Chicks could ever make.
Did any of you happen to watch the Country Music Awards the other night?
