edition of the Journal of Country Music (Tim McGraw on the cover), you may want
to take a look at an article I wrote. The piece, "Almost Heaven," features a
70-year observation of Wheeling WV radio station WWVA and its Saturday evening
Jamboree USA broadcasts.
The article features interviews with many of the performers, past and present,
on the Jamboree stage, including Brad Paisley, Doc Williams, Yodelin' Kenny
Roberts, Mac Wiseman, Stompin' Tom Connors and Dusty Owens. It also features
rare photographs and anecdotes, and lots of great memories.
