Ah yes, that would be me :) I only write that to explain that I am biased and therefore apologise in advance if I've been too negative about the song. It is not an attempt to discredit the style of music at all, just an acknowledgement that although I am trying my best to give a fair critique it will almost certainly be tainted by my personal prejudices - Which I think is better than saying "you're song's crap!" and then protesting I'm giving an honest analysis (which often happens on this board). I also point out that one of the many Country lovers here would perhaps be better qualified to crit the song, which is a hint for someone like yourself to step in ;) Anyway like I say it is not intended to offend anybody or to discredit any particular style of music. If it comes across that way, I apologise. > As if country is less somehow than any other genre; which it certainly isn't. > One has to actually write a lyric that tells a story in country :-) > > Dolores Absolutely! I wish I could write that style of lyric and I can't. (although if I could I'd still set it to my kind of tune!) Take Care!
