Springsteen's "Born in the USA"

At the time he started singing it Springsteen made clear
that it was a protest song. It was NOT a partriotic
song although a lot of people grab with it because
of the electric character of his singing "I was born in the USA".
Indeed, like a lot of modern music, people can`t understand the
lyrics but in Springsteen`s case it was also the question that
many did not make the effort.
Finally we note that whatever method people try to and shut up
protest singers, the results are meager. They sing on.

VietNam vet being treated like shit thru his entire life, "sent of to a
foreign land to kill a yellow man" and being spat on upon his return back
home..." In other words, this is NOT a patriotic song.)
