In about a month, approximately 300 dancers from all over the United States will converge on the BYU Campus, 25 miles south of Salt Lake City for the annual Ballroom Dance Camp, held twice every summer. We invite you to join us in Salt Lake City during the week of Dance Camp in the evenings of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, at the Murray Arts Center: 4868 South State, in Salt Lake City. On Tuesdays, there are Two dance floors available: At The Murray Arts Center, Tony Summerhays, a One Man Band plays Contemporary music for all styles of dancing from 8-11. Cost is $6. Across the street at The Dance Center on Tuesdays, Auntie Pam Dj's mostly West Coast Swing, some Hustle and some Latin. R&B, Pop, Top 40, all play out at The Dance Center on Tuesdays. West Coast Swing Lessons 7:30 Beginning, 8:30 Intermediate. 9-11 Open dance. $5 for lesson and dance, or $3 for dance only. Wednesday is Ballroom Dancing at The Murray Arts Center, as it is on Friday and Saturday. Traditional Ballroom music is played for your enjoyment and dancing on the 12,000 sq ft suspended hardwood floor. Directions: Take I-15 to Salt Lake's 4500 South exit. Turn right to State State Street (about 5 blocks) and turn right again on State Street to 4868 South.
