While BYU's Dress Code is extreme even for visitors, We have NO DRESS CODE on Tuesdays in Salt Lake City for the West Coast Swing Class and Dance. I fully trust other adults know how to dress themselves. I have heard that some instructors and some competitors REFUSE to participate in any of BYU's activities specifically because of their Top of the neck to bottom of the knees completely covered attitude. I've even argued (with no success) with the local Non-Church Dance owner (DEES DANCE) about her LDS Church Dance Standards she enforces: "No Halter Tops, No Spaghetti Straps, No Tank tops, belly shirts, backless, strapless, sleeveless, see through, low cut or otherwise revealing clothing. Skirts and Shorts must be of modest length " (Modest length means BARELY above the knee) They turn women away nightly. And yes, it's offensive. I've suggested that she just hand out Burkas to the women. Your rebel behind the Zion Curtain, Pam
