dancing through the snow to dance

Last night it snowed in my city. A very rare event.
There was a swing dance on.
As I was driving through the snow to the dance I wondered if it would
be cancelled.
When I got there only about 50 other people had come & over the night
maybe a 100 people turned up. But they were all the serious dancers.
We all had a great time. Plenty of room on the dance floor. No lines
at the bar. We all had fun.
I was suprised at some of the people who turned up. I never throught
they were that serious about their dancing.
I guess that snow is a great way to find out who the really serious
dancers are.
Have you driven or would you drive through snow to go dancing??
