actually it was Alan Freed a famous new york DJ
who coined the term "rock n roll".

I think Dance music is a good term
for what we have now.Alot of it sounds
NOTHING like RnB.
I don't know if you get any UK dance mags.
But in all of the dance mags they review
**all the genres**, even into sub genres
in a dance mag you will get reviews for
Hip hop,jungle/drum n bass,
breakbeat,house,funky house,deep
house,techno,Us garage,UK
garage 2 step -I could go on).
But in US mags, they think they're
edgy if the occasionally
review a Dancehall record in their
"alternative sections),
hello source!
I have to say Vibe does occassionally
deviate from it's
Hip-Hop/RnB ethic and does a good article on
Dance music, asking the experts
and breaking it down
quite well!
