I always thought it was degrading to herd all the "single" girls into the center of the room like cattle and then watch them go nuts trying to catch this thing to symbolize "a mayyan". Screw that. There will be no bouquet throwing or garter throwing. There will also be no macarena, chicken dance, hokey pokey, electric slide, any country line dance or any other asinine thing that people do at weddings under the guise of "it's a wedding!" And the *very* first song that will be played, before ANYTHING is Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo. Because it's just not a party until someone plays Boingo. elf.
