Chamber music and electronic music

 Does anyone out here who composes chamber music incorporate elements of electronic music into their work? I have friends who are very much into techno music, and I've been analyzing it (as I am wont to do) and the majority of it appears to be based on "loops", small snippets of musical ideas that are repeated over and over in various permutations, which to me strikes of minimalism ultimately. I was thinking of other "classical" pieces that could be viewed as using "loops", and I came up with Orff's "Carmina Burana", which is really vocal melodies over modularized accompaniment. Since then, I've been incorporating some of the ideas of techno music into a more traditional art-music sense (George Crumb's observation that "all music is contemporary" has always been one of my creeds). Anybody else playing with this kind of stuff?
