I don't really care about the theme, but I care about the Music. The SF rides don't have music in the queues. Look at why The Riddler at SFMM is a great ride. Why? Because the queue has Techno music playing with disco lights flasing green spot lights all over the place. It entertains you while waiting. It adds to the overall appeal of the ride. Visit IOA and you constantly hear music from the moment you leave your car in the parking garage. The music takes you into another world. Eat at Mythos in IOA and it feels like you're in a movie. Why? The music. It's by the band Mythos, who have 3 Cds. I have all of them, and listen to them on my drive up to IOA. Visit BGT/BGW/SWF and other Busch parks, and the music you hear while walking around adds to the experience. Think about the queues at BGT. They're nothing special. They are covered which is nice. But it's the music in the park that makes you have a good time. IOA takes it to the extreme. You hear music as you exit each ride. You hear music during Spiderman. Disney takes it even farther by having music on their coaster with RnR. They've figured it out, just too bad they make their coasters family rides. I mean, think about it. What would you think if MF or S:ROS had speakers in the seats and some rockin' Techno music. Man, dat would be da bomb. Granted, they'd have to make them weather proof, but it could be done.
