If you want an obscure bad lyric, the worst I can think of is one that went
"Grace was found from the saddle to the ground." It was about a person who
had heard the gospel many times, but they had always rejected it. When this
person died suddenly as the result of a horse riding accident, everyone
including the preacher assumed he was burning in hell . . . until one day,
on the very spot where he had died, they say the lyric above was spelled out
in the flowers that were blooming.
What a tear jerker!
