I actually mentioned mostly songs I've played in bar band settings
that worked well, in some cases stunningly well.
Raveups that are descendants of gospel and blues work well too;
Turn On Your Lovelight" and Yield Not To Temptation by
Bobby Blue Bland, Everybody Needs Somebody to Love by
Wilson Pickett.
