Not necessarily. If you refer to THE Gospel, as in the Good News, a noun in
other words, I think it's appropriate to always use the capital G. "Gospel
music," though is using "gospel" as an adjective to describe the type of
music. I wouldn't capitalize it in that context, ordinarily. I might
capitalize both words ("Gospel Music") to distinguish it from another major
category of music like Rock or Country, but that's about the only
circumstance.
