LEAD VOCALIST WANTED
The I Witness Christian Praise Band is a non-profit group from Northern
California that specializes in modern, contemporary Christian and gospel
music for various Churches, Christian Coffee Houses, Religious
Organizations, and other related venues.
The members of The I Witness Christian Praise Band are a group of musicians
who have answered the call to sing praise to The Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ.
The I Witness Christian Praise Band of Sonoma County is currently seeking a
new lead vocalist.
We are seeking out prospective candidates who have accepted Jesus Christ as
their Lord and Savior.
We are seeking an experienced, charismatic, confident man or woman who is
comfortable with being out front, leading praise and worship services.
Candidates should also be familliar with various hymnals, contemporary and
gospel music in addition to various musical styles such as rock, swing,
blues, jazz, latin, etc.
Applying candidates should posses an understanding of basic music
fundamentals such as reading sheet music, vocal dynamics such as melody and
harmony, timing, breathing technique, and proper use of microphone
equipment.
Prospective candidates must be available Friday evenings for practice
between 7:00pm and 10:00pm on an ongoing, reoccurring basis.
Performances are generally scheduled for Friday evenings, Saturday
Mornings/Afternoons, and Sunday mornings and evenings.
This position is a non-pay, volunteer position.
Local Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, and Sonoma County residents will be given
priority consideration, however, all are welcome to apply.
This is a music ministry filled with a life of servitude to plant the seed
of the Gospel into those who hear its message.
