Recorded gospel music ministry in nursing homes/independent living centers

I would like comments from the participants in this newsgroup who have a
nursing home/independent living center ministry of recorded gospel music.
Please, if you will, describe how you perform this service and any problems
that you have encountered and how they were resolved.
For years, I have gone to various nursing homes and independent living
centers and played music from my vast record and video collection. I have
had both good and bad experiences--the former outweighs the latter. One
main problem is that there is too much noise from talking by visitors and
staff personnel.
