Thanks a lot for your explanation. I'm interested in know more about gospel because I live in Italy, where I saw that there is the generical concept of Gospel, without distinction, so every group tends to be marked only as a gospel group, regardless of the style used inside. In Italy there are a lot of Gospel Choirs that refers to gospel songs only for the choral sound of the song itself... I'm trying with my choir to put attention also to the meaning of a gospel song (with attention to the text, translating and interpretating it) in order to achieve a better understanding, for example, of where to put a specific song inside of priest sermons. So I'm trying also to determinate at what kind of gospel style can be associated songs like: Amazing Grace Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen Lift Every Voice And Sing In The Name Of Jesus Oh Happy Day Lean On Me and other from our repertory.... Bye PianoMan
