He made a mistake.
I think that we can only count songs from the Slow Train Coming, Saved and
Shot of Love sessions as counting as Dylan's Gospel Period. Though other
many song from other sessions have just as much Christian content - upfront
or submerged - it is these three albums and their outtakes which people
count as The Gospel Period.
