I agree with you that music can feed the soul. There is *always* music on in our house, in my car.. I'm even in charge of the CD player at the office, LOL.. One thing I might suggest is that you keep a look out in the paper for local concerts put on by various schools, etc. In our community, the twice annual Pops concert put on by our local HS students is a HUGE event. There might be independant ensembles that have concerts as well, that wouldn't cost as much as the Houston Symphony. I"m lucky though.. as I get treated to live music several tims a week, as my son has rehearsals in my basement :-) And few weeks ago, he had a timpani solo when they performed at Boston's Symphony Hall.. it was AWESOME... Just imagining all the wonderful musicians that have played on that stage.. Wow... Anyway.. perhaps there is a way you can enjoy the music you love now, rather than having to wait.. I sure hope so!..
