That's not a problem. Tempo can be controlled after the recording but
how to do it, that is best left to a different discussion. I don't think
that's the definition of "having soul" or "soul-less", however. I know a
few singers doing "soul" music with their mp3s and computers. When
working piano/singer, believe me, it is give and take.
