Dawn Bishop, a very talented singer and musician will be performing LIVE at
La Ve' Lee in Studio City, on Friday, July 4th. She is an alum of the
Berklee College of Music in Boston, and will be backed by fellow alumni from
Berklee.
Dawn's musical influences are: Minnie Riperton, Joni Mitchell, Angela
Bofill, Miles Davis, Gil Scott-Heron, Cassandra Wilson and Steely Dan.
She is extremely soulful and a great keyboardist ... she is perhaps a rare
find in being a very good singer-song writer as well as a great stage
performer. Her music can be describes as R&B/Soul but there is a heavy Jazz
influence when you listen to her music ... and some social commentary. If
