Eric -- Depending on how much (or, as in my case) how little you know, David Braid's *Play Classical Guitar* is as good an introduction as any I've seen. It is very basic stuff, has pictures of sitting positions, keyboard maps, scales, explanations of fingering, plenty of practice pieces. Hardback, but with spiral binding, so it will lay flat. The book will work better with a teacher, but in theory, can be used without one, though catching bad habits by yourself is tricky. Alas, no TAB, only standard notation ... -- Steve
