Corian nuts/ saddles work for classical guitar?

I know that Corian is used with steel string guitars, more usually for nuts, but it can be harsh for some guitars. Has anyone here tried using corian for nuts or saddles with a nylon string guitar? What did you make of it? I'm repairing an old, worn and fairly cheap guitar but don't want to use any of that cheese-like plastic again. I've also seen compensated Tusq saddles for classical guitar. Are they good? And is the 'staggered' pattern the same roughly as with a steel strung guitar, with the B string sunken back a bit, for example? Thanks for all replies.
