Advice needed on a classical guitar

I've been playing guitar for 23 years, have several electrics, an acoustic, and a bass. I listen to classical guitar quite a bit, and I've decided to get lessons once again (last time was when I was 16, and when I figured out it would take YEARS to play La Catedral by Barrios, I gave up quickly). My local Guitar Center has a Rodriguez Model C for $550 used. It has a couple minor scratches, and a couple dings here and there. It's very light, and it sounds pretty good to my ear (vs. the yamaha cg101/120/151 guitars they had on hand). It looks structurally sound, no evidence of major problems that I could tell. It sounds better than some of the more expensive Cordobas as well. I just don't want to pay $500 for a $300 dollar guitar. Can anyone help me figure out if this is a good deal or not? BTW it doesn't come with a case. Thanks Steve
