Loads of dance/techno/trance is pure instrumental. We just don't see it that way because the instrument happens to be drums, bass and synths. But it's no less instrumental for that. Guitar-wise, what's been happening in the UK with Craig David, Darius and a few others home-grown or otherwise looks interesting. Some of the songs have very strong instrumental content, often on classical guitar or sampled/cut acoustic. David
