New Blues Listener

Hello everyone,
Im tired of modern rock. I want to get into some soulful blues music.
I got some Muddy Waters and BB King.
The kind of blues in into is the folk or rootsy kind. I dont like the BB
King that I have. Its too slick and produced. Ive got Muddy Waters 'She
Moves Me" on right now. Its just a guitar simple drums and a harmonica and I
love it. The EQ on it isnt even that good it sounds like it might all even
have been recorded on one mic. I would like to learn more about artists and
recordings that have this sound. If you could point me to the FAQ and any
other web sites that have more information on these types of artists I would
appreciate it.
