Have a good time at the jazz festival, Bette. I'd like to be there next year, but I'm having a tough time convincing DH to go. The other night after eating dinner out, we walked past a local jazz bar and the baritone saxaphonist was practicing outside the back door, by the parking lot. I was enjoying the sound of his music. So I asked DH if we might stop in there for a drink and listen to the music. DH didn't want to listen to jazz, saying it was too far out. (i.e., no obvious melody). So he agreed to drop me off while he gassed up the car. I went in, ordered a ginger ale and sat at the bar listening to the 4 piece band by myself. DH was right. They were too far out. Is that how the Sacramento Jazz Festival will be? ---Sea/Karen (Please refer to me as "Sea".) PS-I've changed my Yahoo e-mail addy, but the old Yahoo addy is still in effect. Either one will reach me. Of course, there's always my salty addy which I prefer.
