Just ordered my tickets for the North Sea Jazz Festival -
Anybody else going? They're featuring Metheny, Benson,
Abercrombie, Joshua Redman, Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans,
Wynton Marsalis, Chick Corea... Metheny is "artist in
residence", giving two different concerts each night -
one of them in a duet with Jesse Van Ruller. Tempting?
BTW, the trip is my honeymoon - the beautiful Anna
agreed that a jazz festival would make a great choice
for a honeymoon venue. Lucky guy, huh?
