Here in the UK, BBC Radio 3 (the Beeb's 'serious' music station) seems to be putting out some programmes covering the history of jazz guitar. Last week's show covered Charlie Christian, this week's was on Wes, next week it's John McLaughlin's turn. If anyone's interested, it's possible to listen again to the Christian program here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio3_aod.shtml?jazzfile I think the later ones will come online in due course. I'm a big R3 listener, but hadn't really explored the jazz bits and pieces they've put online until just now, and I must say I'm quite pleased with the use they've been making of my license fee :). The general jazz page is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/jazz/index.shtml Enjoy.
