You know what, it happens. There's this kind of jazz snobbery/perception that if you can play over changes & play jazz then you most certainly can play rock & even better than rock players. You all know what I'm talking about. But man, once you start getting into jazz, it toatlly screws ya & your rock chops go all to hell I think. The whole vibe is changed.
