Hi, I like to introduce an Italian Jazz-trompeter Enrico Rava. May be for some of you he's well-known, especially because of his warm sound an style which (almost)average the sound of the legendary jazz-trumpeter Chet Baker. More about him: http://www.enricorava.com/home.html I already ordered some cd's in Italy (releases mostly from small Italian labels). http://www.jazzos.com/articles.cgi?key=Enrico%20Rava He just released a new cd which is a wonderful duet with Stefano Bollani on piano titled "Memorial Dairy B". Now he's on tour in Europe. First he plays on Jazz in Duketown 2003 saturday 7 of june (duet concert) http://www.jazzinduketown.nl/main_nl.html He plays also as Enrico Rava Quintet on The North Sea Jazz Festival on saturday 12 of july. http://www.northseajazz.nl/artists.asp?actID=316&actYear=2003 So, "discover" this wonderful jazz-trumpeter (if you not already did) and enjoy his sound like a memory of Chet Baker playing.
